Prohibited Items

As our standard operating procedure we do inspections of regular items that are confined, can’t be delivered or, contingent upon your end of the line nation might either oblige an import permit, extra documentation and/or cause issues and postponements amid the traditions audit of your shipment. In the event that your package contains a confined item, our Compliance group must survey your shipment when it touches our offices.
 
This process may add 1 – 3 business days (Sunday – Tuesday) before your item is available to ship.

The Can-Do’s: Permitted Items

Items you can ship include:

  • Clothing
  • DVDs and CDs
  • Computer, electronic, and camera parts and accessories
  • Personal grooming items (non-flammable only)
  • Low-value commercial items
  • Magazines, catalogs, booklets, and annual reports
  • Books
  • Food and nutritional supplements
  • Invoices
  • Letters
  • Marketing mailings
  • Artwork, Antiques and Collectibles

The No-Can-Do’s: Prohibited Items

Items you cannot ship include:

  • Biological materials such as bacteria or virus samples
  • Firearms, weapons and their parts
  • Flammable and explosive chemicals or products
  • Hazardous waste materials
  • Packages that are wet, leaking or emit an odor of any kind.
  • Live animals
  • Lottery tickets and other gambling items
  • Money, including cash instruments, currency, coins, and other forms of money or cash equivalents
  • Pornography
  • Drugs / Narcotics (illegal)
  • Human remains (including ashes)
  • Counterfeit or Pirated goods or material
  • Any item(s), the carriage of which is prohibited by any law, regulation or statute of any federal, state or local government to or through which the shipment may be carried.
